Plan Mode

As the name suggests, this mode is only usually used at the planning stage, to check the route when it is entered into the FMC. A visual gross error check of the route can easily be performed and any discontinuities, duplications or doglegs removed.

It may be used in-flight to inspect a later part of the route.
