12 Apr 2017 - Dutch Royal Transport F70 to be replaced with a BBJ.

It has been announced that the Netherlands will replace their Royal Flight Fokker 70 with a BBJ registered PH-GOV. The aircraft, which is also used for government VIP transport, will have capacity for 24 passengers and the interior will be done by Fokker Technologies. The purchase price is estimated at €92.7 million and delivery is expected in 2019.

One of the more demanding requirements for the royal transprot is that it had be able to reach all parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands non-stop, this includes the Dutch Antilles in the Caribbean.
