El Al 737-800 4X-EKJ in storage

This photo, shows a contemporary airliner with a financially stable airline forced into storage by the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. This picture is being repeated all over the world this year.

The aircraft has covers on all probes, ports, engines and APU inlets & exhausts. Even the blinds are down in the flightdeck windows.

A look at flightaware (below) shows that it last flew over 3 months ago on the 7 Sep 2020 for a quick circuit, just to keep the aircraft out of the deep mothball program.
