The Boeing 737 Technical Guide is available as an eBook
For several years I had resisted requests to make an electronic version of the guide because to me the electronic version was the website... then I got an iPad of my own and changed my mind!
The eBook was made by Lulu, the sellers of the book. Although the contents are the same, the layout is quite different from the book. There are various reasons for this but it comes down to it being required to be ledgible on a variety of readers at several levels of zoom (font size). So, in general there are less words to a page, hence many more pages in the eBook. The layout is more simple as all photographs are centrally positioned and are shown as thumbnails until you double-tap them when they enlarge to fill the screen. I have put some screenshots below to illustrate these differences. In short, it is the same information but in a different format. Personally I prefer the printed book but I know the value of being able to carry an electronic copy, hence I have made this version available.
Note that if you have purchased an earlier version of the electronic book, the iBooks app supports book updates. That means that when the book is republished with new or additional content, iBooks lets you know. You can download the updated version free, and it automatically replaces the older copy in your library.
The book is available in a variety of electronic formats from the outlets listed below. Click on the logos to see further details:
