The Boeing 737 Technical Guide is now available as an eBook

I suppose it was always going to happen that the book of the website would reappear in yet another format. For several years I had resisted requests to make an electronic version of the guide because to me the electronic version was the website... then I got an iPad of my own and changed my mind!

The eBook was made by Lulu, the sellers of the book. Although the contents are the same, the layout is quite different from the book. There are various reasons for this but it comes down to it being required to be ledgible on a variety of readers at several levels of zoom (font size). So, in general there are less words to a page, hence many more pages in the eBook. The layout is more simple as all photographs are centrally positioned and are shown as thumbnails until you double-tap them when they enlarge to fill the screen. I have put some screenshots below to illustrate these differences.

In short, it is the same information but in a different format. Personally I much prefer the printed book but I know the value of being able to carry an electronic copy, hence I have made this version available.

If you have an iPad then the link to the book from iTunes is:

If you have a different reader, then you should buy the book from Lulu who offer it in 2 formats, make sure that you choose the format which works for your reader.
