The Boeing 737 Technical Guide - eBook Edition

The contents of the eBook are the same, but the layout is quite different from the book. There are various reasons for this but it comes down to it being required to be ledgible on a variety of readers at several levels of zoom (font size). So, in general there are less words to a page, hence many more pages in the eBook. The layout is more simple as all photographs are centrally positioned and are shown as thumbnails until you double-tap them when they enlarge to fill the screen. I have put some screenshots below to illustrate these differences. In short, it is the same information but in a different format. Personally I prefer the printed book but I know the value of being able to carry an electronic copy, hence I have made this version available.

Updates

Note that the "Released Date" of 3 Feb 2022 was the date that the book was first placed in Apple Books. It has been updated many times since then. if you have purchased an earlier version of the electronic book, when the book is republished with new or additional content, Apple Books lets you know. You can download the updated version free, and it automatically replaces the older copy in your library.

Note that the book is also available from Lulu, Kindle, Kobo and Nook. However, due to problems with the original publisher that I have been unable to overcome, these versions finish at V82 November 2020 and will not be updated. I therefore recommend that you purchase your copy of the book from Apple Books to ensure that you have an up to date copy as the Apple books version includes free updates from the Apple bookstore.
