28 Oct 2021 - 737-800, PH-HXG (41355/6340, age 4.6 years), operated by Transavia had a fire on the Number 1 MLG tyre whilst taxying in at Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM) on flight HV6730 from Seville. The aircraft had landed on Runway 18R at 11:19z and had been taxying for approximately 14 minutes before smoke was seen from the landing gear. Photographs show a fire on wheel #1 and a passenger evacuation from all doors and overwing exits. There is some flap in the photograph, but not flap 40. There were no reported injuries and only minor damage to the aircraft. |
