02 July 2019 - 737-800, VT-SYK (30410/1228) operated by Spicejet has today suffered a runway excursion whilst landing at Mumbai R/W 27 at 23:50L (18:20Z) in heavy rain.

The aircraft departed the far end of the runway and came to a stop in mud. From the photographs it apears that the nose gear has either collapsed or dug deep into the soft surface.

There was no evacuation and the passengers disembarked via stairs with no reported injuries.
